Fuser Film(XRX)

The Fuser Film Sleeve (also called fixing film or heat sleeve) is a heat-resistant tube that wraps around the heating element in the printer’s fuser unit. It plays a crucial role in melting and bonding toner to the paper by ensuring smooth and even heat transfer.

Key Features:

• Material: High-quality Teflon (PTFE) or Polyimide for high heat resistance

• With or Without Gear: Some Xerox models use sleeves with plastic drive gears for roller rotation

• Color: Usually brown, red-brown, or bronze (color may vary by manufacturer)

• Heat Tolerance: Up to 200–230°C

• Function: Melts toner onto paper through uniform heat and pressure during the final stage of printing

• Lifespan: Typically 100,000–200,000 pages (model-dependent)
